Scientific background

The procedure is based on the so-called 360-degree diagnostic method of psychology (often referred to as 360-degree feedback), which has been established and widely used in business and in the diagnostics of various groups worldwide.

The method is accurate and sensitive, complying with the highest modern evaluation standards. The main point of the method is that in addition to the self-evaluation of the studied individual, the people who know him also evaluate him. In the version that has been adapted to football, professional players who know each other well, evaluate themselves, as well as their team-mates, according to the most important professional criteria of football.

The assessment
The questionnaire examines the most important aspects of football with 28 closed questions, divided into physical, technical, tactical and mental/psychological sections.
Some questions relate to basic skills, while other questions are more comprehensive and address the capabilities of players in a more complex way. The questions are thus formulated at multiple levels to comprise a complex evaluation approach.
The survey also examines physical attributes that can be measured by other, more objective methods (for example quickness and speed). However, these measurable values also appear in the evaluation forms filled in by the players.
The survey also provides a detailed view on the team as a whole, and features special sociometric relations between the team members.
